Feast of Vultures by Josy Joseph

Feast of Vultures, The hidden business of democracy in India, is extremely readable book for those who want to see a real picture of our democracy. The author Josy Joseph is very well known investigative journalist. The author takes us on a journey across India and brings us face to face with reality of getting the job done in the system that evolved in India over a period of time. The corruption from top to down and vice versa is revealing. The leading corporate houses and business umpires of India who adapted to the system are now leading in their spheres and continue to rise. Ethics and morality of our leadership has gone over a toss.

The author has claimed links of Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal having links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and also claimed it a vital link to killing of his business rival Mr Thakiyuddin the owner of East West Airlines. Jet Airways owner has filed a defamation suit worth Rs 100 Crores against the author and the matter is in the court. Likewise he has exposed unethical practices of almost all business house to include, Reliance, Jindal, Vedanta and many more except Ratan Tata. He has exposed Naveen Jindal Group's exploitation of tribal areas in mining business of coal, Mukesh Ambani's building his house Antila on a waqaf board land, a Muslim Orphanage, middlemen of political parties and roles of middlemen and their relatives in Defence deals. , The author also underlines the fact as to how politicians of all parties make a fool of public by promising to take on corruption but when in power help in shady deals and toe the line of corporate and businessmen despite objections of CAG, intelligence agencies,  honest bureaucrats and honest politicians. Those who dare to take on corrupt are made to shut up through bribes, thrown in obscure places and departments and at the worst eliminated.  Kudos to the author who has written this book at a grave risk to himself and his family. May his tribe increase. We need more like him.
